The High Wycombe band, Let There Be Light are releasing a charity single called “Heaven” on Monday. All proceeds from the sale of the single will go to Macmillan Cancer Support, in memory of band member, Damian Carruthers, step-father, who passed away following a fight with pancreatic cancer two years ago.
The trio, which comprises of Damian, Hollie Pearson and Abigail Pain, formed the band in 2012. They are keen to promote the song to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support following the excellent care received in the final months of Carruthers’ step-father’s life. Their hope is not only to give something back to the charity but also to provide comfort and hope for those affected by this disease.
The song will be available on iTunes, an accompanying video shot in and around High Wycombe will coincide with the release and the band will be touring the UK from mid-September, check out their tour dates on the website.
When approached by the band Web Design High Wycombe were delighted to support the band and such a deserving charity. Visit the Let There Be Light website for information of where to purchase this single and support this worthy cause.
